First is pictures from Karaoke. Kristen (my roomate) sang twice. First she sang an opera song in Italian - everyone was super impressed. Later on she sang "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence. She sounded sooooo good. Afterwards she was like an instant celebrity; everyone was asking me what her name was, and people kept complementing her and everything. So,here's a few pictures of Kristen singing "Bring Me to Life."
Next we have pictures from the Talent show.
This girl was really funny; she did impressions and animal noises
No...your eyes do not deceive you...Although there are only 3 shown here, there were 4 girls in this act. They dressed up in bedsheets or "togas" and danced to this Hindu/Indian music. This was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time, as this picture hopefully demonstrates. Now this wasn't actually a talent show act. These are some of the camp counselors doing a routine to end the show. The girls are seated at a table, and there are 2 guys behind them, who are doing the arms for them. The guys were trying to put make up on the girls, while the song "girls just wanna have fun" played. It was really quite amusing.
Another event we had was tye dye and ice cream. I didn't actually tye dye anything, but I ate the ice cream!
